I think life is precious. You can only live one life, unfortunately. Death, can sweep you away in an instant. Many people just allow it to happen, but others are only too stubborn to stop. A person is had by me within my life which have experienced this, along with myself.

In late January for this past year, 2009, I experienced a traumatic experience. My mother was driving my friend, me, and my brothers to my dad’s house. My youngest brother, my buddy, and I also, were into the backseat and my eldest brother was at the passenger seat. My pal, my buddy, and I also were joking around and laughing within the backseat, when out of the blue, the global world went black. I opened my eyes moments later and then see my mother crying helplessly and weakly for help. I looked to my left, where my pal was, she was calling on her behalf mother, saying “I want my mom, where is my mom?” and complaining that her shoulder hurt. I then looked to my right, and saw my little brother crying, and breathing harshly and“Mom that is saying up, Mom. ” I, felt like crying but could not, I had to help keep my buddy and my buddy, who are both two years younger than me, calm. My brother that is eldest, surprisingly was fine. He asked me I responded by saying, my head hurts if I was alright, and. My cousin suddenly looked at the side of my face, and said “Jade put your gloves on your own face.” I became wondering why so needless to say used to do it, then looked down within my glove, and then realize that my head was bleeding. It absolutely wasn’t painful though, it absolutely was just, numb. I kept pressure back at my head, still using my glove. Then, I heard my eldest brother say, “Get out of the car.” First my friend walked out, followed by myself, and my younger brother walked off to the other side.

Whenever we were fully out from the motor car, my mom was still trapped inside. Her door was in fact caved in and she was not able to move. I shed a tear, then quickly ran across the now, very backed up intersection, to your gas station over the way. There is a college aged boy standing there, on a cell phone, seemingly calling 911. I stood there for a moment, him hang up until I saw. I said politely “Can you please call my father?” He responded by saying, “Of course, sweetie, of course, what’s the true number?” I quickly told him and he dialed right away. I heard my father’s deep voice that is soothing “Hello?” “Yes, hello I am…” he said his name, “ and I am standing only at the intersection of 6th street and Walnut along with your daughter write my paper for me, her mother and siblings have just experienced an extremely bad car wreck” said the guy. “ I will likely be there right away” I heard my father say. A police officer walked as much as us and told us us to his car that it was too cold to be standing outside, and rushed.

My brothers, my friend and I also were sitting when you look at the police car as soon as we suddenly saw my dad sprinting toward my mother’s car and looking around, obviously wondering where we were. The doors don’t open from inside in a police car, so I tapped from the window, directing toward my brother who was standing outside, and told him to open up the doorway. He opened the hinged door, and then I told him that my dad was there, I spotted him again, then ran into his arms. Only at that point, there were firefighters prying my mother’s car door open, and carrying her out on a stretcher. I watched once the ambulance rushed her away, began to cry, and then realized that my little brother was standing right close to me. He had been not breathing well and his face was beat red. My brother that is little is asthmatic, and so I immediately alerted a medic.

Just then, a medic walked as much as me, and began to clean my face with alcohol rub. She then put a cotton bandage regarding the relative side of my eye. The cut was not as bad as every one of it was made by the blood look. The medic then told me to go then find my brothers follow her to the ambulance.

Once we were within the ambulance, one of the medics inside put my little brother on a breathing machine, which basically, was just helping him to breathe better and to get oxygen back into his lungs. My friend and I were on a ledge seat because of the window and my brother that is oldest was sitting on a chair in the back, and my father was sitting at the start utilizing the person driving the ambulance.

We quickly arrived in the hospital where we had been each assigned a room, my buddy and I also were in a space together, and my brothers were each in their rooms that are own.

Directly after we had all been released to go, I asked the nurse if we could go see my mom and she said we could. We went into my mom’s room in the recovery floor. She had a lip that is bloody told us that she cracked her pelvic bone, and broke a number of her ribs.

This is when I realized which you don’t know exactly how much you love someone, until these are generally fighting for their life just to enable them to live to visit your face everyday.

My mom is my idol. She has fought on her behalf life so that you can stay static in mine and my siblings’. She has dumped guys she really liked, because she knows that when things are real bad, we are the ones that help her get through it the essential. She’s got even gone days without eating to ensure that we could eat.

I look to my mom for everything, and am hoping she’s going to be around for a time that is long.

Death, can sweep you away in an instant. Some people just allow it happen, but others are only too stubborn to give up.
